We love this menu, Omurice with double sauce with slide pork topping. My mom told she's full before dinner but she ate all.

Very nice place for lunch. The omurice is really delicious, get the one with double sauce, so you won‘t regret not trying it ;)

Lovely little place. Not a lot of dinner options in Nikko, but this place was lovely and quite reasonable. Definitely go for the Omuraisu. Everything else was good as well. Reservations are highly recommended!

'Grilled nikko HIMITSU pork' is good for Korean.

Really delicious food!!

A small bar with 2 main dishes on the menu: omelets and beef innards rice bowl. The omelets have options to choose from. My girlfriend had the white sauce omelet, which was pretty good. I recommend that. The rice bowl was ok but the omelet was better. There are also tapas but I did not have any.

We loved our meal here, I am giving it 4 stars because the Chef was so quiet and we had no interaction with him, but the presentation was very good and the restaurant is within easy access of the tourist route, don't doubt it and eat here!

Great Japanese whiskey. Sampled YAMAZAKURA, smooth, great bouquet. Cozy little bar, soft jazz music, relaxing after a hectic day. Highly recommend.

We had a good meal and drinks here. We ordered dry sake and the owner had a good recommendation. We also had the Omurice (eggs on rice) with curry sauce. We enjoyed it very much.

Great spot. They have one thing for lunch and you like it! A few other guests there in the afternoon, but no issue getting a table. You could need a reservation at night as there are only 8 seats. I had white sauce, which I liked. Wife had curry. Both are good. If I was alone I would recommend the mixed plate so you can have both. Enjoyed the broiled cheese on mine. Go across the street after for a pudding and ice cream.

Banging food. Tapas and omurice. We were impressed by the takoyaki but especially the divine omurice with curry sauce and pork!

Love this place! The food here is amazing! Try the egg n rice with double curry sauce and ask for the cold Nikko Sake, so good! The beer is a local brew and made with buckwheat, very refreshing.

Chill bar with lots of Tapas to go with your drink! The owner recommended a Nikko local brew-I Ro Wa. I ordered the Shabu Shabu pork, grilled pork, yuba, croquette, and the seasonal cherry blossom Omurice with cheese on top! Everything was tasty, with my favorite being the shabu shabu pork!!The owner seems to really like hip hop and r&b :) lots of Beyoncé, Neyo, etc. I’d visit again!

Great sake selection of local production using mountain water. Food is of all kinds and is very nice, liked sweet rice with egg dish and the smoked meats.

Excellent Omurice, nice atmosphere and some extra tasty local beers on offer. Came here by accident but really happy with it!

A small place (12 seats) with amazing food. I took the omurice with white sauce and pork, it was really good. Really recommended if you are lucky to find a seat.

Stopped for a drink on a hot day - seemed as though we were an inconvenience to them. Would not recommend based on the service we received.

The best omurice I have ever eaten or SEEN (the presentation is beautiful!), hands down. Highly recommend the double sauce (white sauce and curry) with the pork. Interior is dark, warm, and cozy. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Amazing place

In the space the size of a McMansion bathroom, the bartender/cook creates artful dishes that blend both esthetics and flavor. My wife and I each had the Omurice with white sauce and tried the boiled slices pork topping and Yuba (tofu skin) topping. The care the chef took crafting our dishes was nothing short of what you’d see at a fine dining restaurant in the States. We were blown away. This place is so worth your time and money, it’s not even funny. It defines “hidden gem.”

There was slim choices for 6 pm on a Friday evening; however Bar de Nikko would be a standout even if there was more competition. The omurice with boiled pork was a sizable portion to share and paired with local Nikko Kanzarashi Sobashi (pale soba "wheat" ale). This was a good reward for all the walking today!

One of the best meals we had so far. They only serve omurice at lunchtime - we had one with the white topping and cheese and the other with curry and pork. Both were amazing and the staff is really friendly. Great option when visiting Nikko! They even have WiFi!

Excellent bar, nice menu, friendly proprietor. They offer a local beer from Nikko made from soba; worth trying. Also, this is a good place to try japanese shochu, the sato no hana is impressively good.I didn’t get a chance to try the “omelette rice”, but it looked epic as I watched it served to another customer.This would be my first stop next time in Nikko.

The yuba omurice with double sauce I had was delicious, but I personally wouldn’t go out of my way to pre-book to eat here and it is more pricey than other places. If you happen to walk past it by all means try it out!

wanted to eat at hippari dako, but it was closed. thankfully this place was open, else we'd've been stranded in the cold - awesome food and drinks, chill vibes... its a bonus that chef has a great playlist! (had the curry omurice with nikko pork, and matcha beer)

Small and cosy place with delicious food!

Lovely, intimate little bar with relaxing music and tasty omurice topped with local delicacies. Small menu with tapas-style dishes, with the main dish options being omurice and an offal stew. I ordered the omurice with curry and white sauce, topped with yuba tofu and baby sardines. It was a very good combination. You can watch the cook prepare dishes from the bar.

This place is absolutely delicious. Highly recommend to anyone who visits Nikko. I had the curry omurice, and its flavor and its presentation exceeded expectations.

Cosy but empty when we arrived on a thursday afternoon....ice cold asahi on tap for the standard JPY 600 a glass but also a few local brews. Good for a-refill after the shrines, if you don’t mind being treated second class next to Japanese guests (on top of that, we were moved to the far end if the bar as soon as the first Japanese guests entered).

Our food was fabulous...we enjoyed 2 meals and then dessert with a yam type of sake...wonderful
